1. High School Diploma or GED required; college level coursework preferred.

2. Applicant must demonstrate a level of knowledge and/or experience appropriate to the position.

3. Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of students, staff, parents, and community members in a professional manner.

4. Ability to follow oral and written instructions with limited supervision.

5. Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in a school environment.

6. Ability to effectively deliver lesson plan(s) while maintaining classroom management.

7. Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak).

9. Ability to perform the following actions with full range of motion and manual dexterity: bending, moderate lifting, twisting, carrying and moving objects and reaching.

1. Provide small group and/or individualized instructional support for students.

2. Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, and/or other times

as designated.

3. Maintain records and data on student performance as assigned.

4. Monitor student behavior and assisting students to engage in appropriate behavior.

5. Attend to and support the hygiene and behavioral needs of the students.

6. Other responsibilities as assigned

Reports To: Building Principal

Salary Range: From/To: TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 1. Up to 29.50 hours/week; exclusive of long term assignments 2. Salary in accordance with state FY 2018 compensation rates.
