SUMMARY:

Cab Calloway is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic secondary mathematics special education teacher. Primary responsibilities will be serving students with IEP's in a smaller group setting as their primary teacher, including regular education and special education students together. Will be responsible for grades 6 - 12. Must be secondary mathematics certified to teach through high school mathematics, as well as have certification in special education. Proficiency in instructional technology is essential and knowledge of Schoology, Google Apps, and student use of the Chromebook is key. A willingness to collaborate with a dynamic team of teachers and an interest in the arts is critical. Will need to case manage a group of identified students, supporting their instructional needs, writing and managing their IEP goals, as well as teaching mathematics through Algebra II and Senior level mathematics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be certified to teach secondary special education

Certification in secondary mathematics is also required

Delaware Continuing License

Delaware Initial License

Out of State Teaching License
