TITLE: Clerk, Paraprofessional (Special Education Office) 5.5 hours/day-10 Months

LOCATION: W.T. Chipman Middle School

QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet the certification requirements of the State of Delaware Department of Education

REPORTS TO: School Principal (or Assistant)

JOB GOAL: To assist a department or program with record keeping and routine office duties.

  1. Performs office routines such as telephoning, recording and retrieving data, filing, record keeping, organizing and duplicating materials, keyboarding and maintaining materials and equipment.
  2. Obtains information from records or other staff for the use of co-workers.
  3. Performs duties of specific programs as designated.
  4. Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor that relate to the department or program being served.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.

Start Date: August 25, 2018

Reports To: School Principal

Salary Range: From/To: Salary and schedule determined by the Board of Education.
