Paraprofessional Special Education - Autism Support
LOCATION: Richardson Park Learning Center/Red Clay Early Years Program
HOURS: 8:30 - 4:00
Assist in implementing Individualized Education program for students
Duties will include: :
Lifting up to 50 lbs, ability to bend, and kneel for positioning of students for mobility purposes, diapering, physical education activities. Implement instruction for preschool and school age students, assist teacher and therapist in classroom activities, and implement behavior support plans. Record student data, operation, and data input of assistive technology devices, attend professional development sessions, and staff meetings.
- Completion of two years of higher education; or
- Completion of an Associates Degree; or
- High School Diploma/GED and ParaPro Assessment Test (There is a $49.00 fee for this test)
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with students with Autism preferred
