1. Certification or eligibility for certification as School Principal and Assistant School Principal in the State of Delaware.
2. Three years of full-time, successful classroom experience at the secondary level.
3. Training in the Delaware Performance Appraisal System II preferred.
4. Strong background in curriculum and instruction preferred.

The Assistant Principal will assist the Principal in:
1. Evaluating the performance of assigned professional staff.
2. Providing leadership in curricular areas.
3. Serving with parents, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing educational activities and objectives.
4. Improving student climate
5. Data analysis to promote student achievement.
6. Working knowledge of the school budget.
7. Supervising and monitoring student attendance.
8. Promoting positive school-community relations.
9. Being involved in individual student program planning.
10. Coordinate statewide testing programs.
11. Other duties as assigned.
