Certification or eligibility for certification as a Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent per PSB Regulation 1593

REPORTS TO: Superintendent

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lead district "school-improvement" efforts including all programs and initiatives related to curriculum, instruction, and student performance.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

1. Level II grievances and complaints
2. Professional development for administrative staff.
3. Delaware Performance Appraisal System (DPAS II) Coordinator
4. Collective bargaining agreement lead - professional/support staff
5. Coordinator of consolidated grant process
6. Assist Superintendent with:
- Public & community relations
- District legal issues
- Evaluation of district administrative staff
7. Other duties as assigned
