Position: Office Clerk - Full Time - 12 month position

School: William Henry Middle School

Reports to: Principal

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist students, staff and visitors.
  • Monitor student attendance
  • Communicates in a positive manner to all staff, parents, and community members through phone calls, emails, and personal contacts.
  • Sort and distribute mail and other delivers
  • Maintains a regular filing system and processes incoming correspondence as instructed.
  • Collects information, organizes, types, and proofreads a variety of documents including curricula, manuals, guides, policies, letters, and other written communication documents.
  • Demonstrates computer skills in MS Word, Internet, Excel, eSchool and i-Tracker.
  • Data entry in spreadsheets, sorting and compiling information from reports.
  • Assists in proofreading and editing a variety of materials

Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  2. Experience working in office setting preferred.

Standard Requirements:
  • Favorable Criminal Background Check for the candidate who is offered employment.
  • Tuberculin test & Physical.
  • Mandatory Direct Deposit of Paycheck.

Salary Range: From/To: 2018-19 Secretary (Clerk) Salary Schedule
